SOOOO Beautiful!!
Brian and Sylvia are building their house. It is about a mile from the ocean, but right in this redwood forest. AWESOME!!
Notice the mound of dirt Brian is standing on...later you will notice a change in that.
The men got right to work after we said our hellos.
Then we went for a hike down to the ocean.That's Denise, me, dad, Phil and Brian.
Sylvia was kind enough to take the picture...sorry she wasn't in it though.

This is the cove where a few years ago, Tracy and Brian paddled out and scattered Aunt Esther's ashes.
We did a lot of cooking and eating and everything was absolutely delicious. We are thinking about putting together a family cookbook.

ReplyDeleteHi Everyone, I have finally had a chance to view the blog and what fun to remember the weekend. It was such a joy to see family reconnect. Julie, Cynthia is Brian and Sylvia's daughter who just married Dan in October. Our son is Kevin and he just married Jamie Mead in April... They live in Baton Rouge, LA and were not able to attend. Our hope is that all you "kids" will be able to meet each other at one of these reunions. Reserve 4th of July because we will continue to offer this event. I am willing to contribute to a family cookbook... just let me know how you want to do it.
